Envelope Art

For a change of pace... here are samples of some Calligraphy Art that I've done recently. It is fun for me and for the person who receives it! Hopefully you'll see more in the near future. d:-p

Lessons learned: the paper was too slick for Prismacolor Art Stix so I switched to colored pencils but I could not get good darks and it was taking too long to complete.  Finally I used manga markers to complete the caricature. I had fun doing it and will do another using different paper that will be more user-friendly.

As Mr. Ernest W. Watson once said "one need not wait until his work begins to look professional before getting a lot of satisfaction out of it".
