
Lessons learned: the paper was too slick for Prismacolor Art Stix so I switched to colored pencils but I could not get good darks and it was taking too long to complete. Finally I used manga markers to complete the caricature. I had fun doing it and will do another using different paper that will be more user-friendly.
As Mr. Ernest W. Watson once said "one need not wait until his work begins to look professional before getting a lot of satisfaction out of it".

I think this piece is very professional. I enjoyed reading about the process. However, I think Mr. Watson must have been an optimist...in the extreme.
